Shrimat Jagadguru Nityanand, a true”Dattavatari”! Nobody knows about his birth, about his origin Shrimat Jagadguru Nityanand Baba has worked for Mankind. Spread the message of spirituality and Devotion towards Almighty God and worked for mankind, worked for communial hormony. Baba's Devotees are in millions spread all over the world, from all tha corners of the world and from all the religions ! Many of”Baba's” Devotees who are specially blessed by baba with his spiritual power at the early stage of their “Upasana” are todays renowned personalities in spiritual world and spreaded “Baba's” message all over the world. Swami Srimat Chinmayanand, Swami Shri Jananand, Shrimat Raul Maharaj, Shrimat Bhalchandra Maharaj, Sant Kalavati Aayee, Shreemat Muktanandji, Shreemat Shaligram Swami, Our Guru and father late Shree Balkrushna Mahadev Mhaskar is also amongst them.

At his young age, due to social injustice on mankind, our father who was a school teacher in Goa, left his job and decided to go to “Shri Datta Kshetra Gangapur” for “Guru Bhakti”. He completed his One Hundred and Eight “Parayans”(Consistantly and repeatedly reading) of “GURU-CHARITRA”, Only on “Kartala Bhiksha”( Only survival on the food whichgets in bhiksha only on the area of our own Palm) . This “Hatayoga” was not only tough but during which he faced lots of Unimaginably problems and troubles. After the “Parayan of Guru charitra” for 108th time one night he was blessed with Shreemat Gurudev Nityanand Baba and asked him to stopped his “Hatayoga” and order him to come to Ganeshpuri. It was year 1939. It tooks three days to my father at that time to reach at ganeshpuri from Shri Kshetra Gangapur. From the day our father started from Gangapur, Nityanand Swami went to his “Upasana” room at “Kailash Niwas”, which was newly developed at that time. And ordered his all the Devotees, not to disturb him till he will come out of his room. For next three days “Swami Nityanand Baba” was in the “Samadhi” ( a highest Stage of Meditation ), till our father reached to him. When our father reached to “Baba's” Ashram at Ganeshpuri, Suddenly Baba shouted from his room and ordered his devotees to send the “Pagala” who has come from the Kshetra Gangapur. When our father entered into Shree baba's room baba shown his “Sagunrup” of Shri Dattaguru and told him that he should not go anywhere in search of “God Dattatraya” …. He has reached to proper place.... All the pilgrim places.... To Kashi....To Mathura.....To Gangapur !!!
